All designs, both those shown on the website and those tailored to a specific client, have been designed and handmade by Purple Daisy Cards and are copyright of Purple Daisy Cards. No design shown on this website should be copied in full or in part.

The client is responsible for obtaining permission for printed reproduction of any material, poems, hymns, songs etc that is requested by the client. The client indemnifies Purple Daisy Cards against any action brought against it for breach of a third parties’ copyright.

Minimum Order:

There is no minimum order. The client may order the exact quantity of any piece of stationery that they require, at the unit cost per item stated in the price list.

Proofs:

Within 7 days of the receipt of the order form and deposit, proofs will be delivered by First Class Royal Mail, with the chosen wording, layout and typeface. While we take every care in producing the proofs, it is the responsibility of the client to proof read any text prior to the commencement of printing. Proofs must be signed, dated and returned to us prior to the production of the order. If any alterations are required, these must be clearly made on each proof, signed and dated and returned to us. A new proof will be sent out for approval and must be signed, dated and returned to us as correct before we can commence with the order. We will use the most recent dated version of amendments in the production of the order. We cannot accept any amendments unless they are signed for and dated. Amendments after final proofs have been agreed and signed for, and production of the order has commenced, will incur additional charges.

Production of Order:

Orders should be placed at least 4, and ideally 5 months before the date of your wedding.

Production of Save the Date Cards and Invitations will commence once final proofs have been approved. A minimum of 4-6 weeks is required from receipt of the approved proofs to complete these items.

Production of Orders of Service with Inserts, Place Cards, Menu Cards and Thank You Cards will commence once final proofs have been approved. These items will be delivered 2 weeks before the date of the wedding, as stated on the order form. Since a minimum of 2-3 weeks is required to produce these items, please ensure that wording is received by Purple Daisy Cards at least 5 weeks before the date of the wedding. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that wording is received by Purple Daisy Cards within this time-frame. The client accepts that Purple Daisy Cards cannot be held liable for orders delivered after the delivery date (i.e. 2 weeks before the wedding), if wording has not been received within this time-frame.

Urgent Orders:

We will try, within reason, to accommodate any urgent orders (i.e. those required in less than 9 weeks before the date the invitations are to be sent out). Such orders will incur an additional cost of 20% of the total order. Please contact us to check availability.

Prices:

All prices are shown in the Price List and are subject to change without prior notice. Any price alterations will not affect orders already confirmed (by payment of the deposit) at that time.

A consultation fee of £20 will be charged for samples that are produced for bespoke designs. All prices for bespoke designs will be quoted on an individual basis and will reflect the materials used and the intricacy of the design. A quote will always be given for bespoke designs before an order is placed.

The price shown for all invitations includes a printed insert and an envelope. The price shown for Orders of Service with Inserts, includes 4 printed, double-sided sheets of A5 paper in either white or cream. If more pages are required, an additional cost will be incurred.

Since the size and weight of each order varies, all postage and packing will be charged on an individual basis. For orders involving multiple delivery dates, postage and packing for each delivery will be charged separately. All delivery charges will be included on the invoice.

Payment:

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total order is required at the time of ordering. Payment of this deposit is understood to be acceptance of these terms and conditions.

The balance of payment for Save the Date Cards and Invitations will be invoiced to the client once final proofs have been agreed and will be required before delivery of these goods is made.

The balance of payment on all other stationery will be invoiced to the client once final proofs for these items have been agreed and will be required before delivery of these goods is made.

Payment can be made by cheque, payable to ‘Purple Daisy Cards’.

Delivery:

The client will be notified by phone or email once the order is ready for despatch. Delivery will be made through the Royal Mail Special Delivery service and will require a signature on arrival. All delivery charges will be made based on the size and weight of each part of the order, however many deliveries the order requires. These charges will be included in the invoice.

All invitations will be delivered by the date stated on the order form. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that the date stated provides sufficient time for the invitations to be written and send to guests before the wedding day.

All other stationery will be delivered two weeks before the date of the wedding stated on the order form.

Purple Daisy Cards takes every care to pack the order but cannot be held liable for any loss or damage incurred in transit via the delivery service. Neither can we be held responsible for any loss incurred due to late delivery for reasons outside our control (postal strike etc.).

Products and Materials:

The client should be aware that our products and packing are not suitable for children.

Since our wedding stationery is all handmade, the client accepts that slight variations will occur between items.

All products are subject to the availability of materials. Whilst we will endeavour to supply the client as agreed, Purple Daisy Cards cannot be held liable for situations beyond its control, for example, discontinued materials. In such cases a suitable alternative will be made available.

If the client orders wedding stationery in multiple orders, Purple Daisy Cards cannot guarantee continued availability of materials.

Whilst we have made every attempt to represent our products as accurately as possible, colour reproduction varies from computer to computer, therefore the images we publish are for illustrative purposes only. The client can be assured that the sample/proof is an accurate representation of the final product.

All goods remain the property of Purple Daisy Cards until payment has been received in full.

Cancellations:

If an order is cancelled before proofs are approved, Purple Daisy Cards will retain 50% of the deposit and refund the difference.

If an order is cancelled after final proofs have been approved, but before production of the order has been started, Purple Daisy Cards will retain the full deposit paid.

If an order is cancelled once full production of the approved proofs has begun, or been completed or delivered, Purple Daisy Cards will retain the full deposit and the remaining balance of payment must still be made.

Data Protection:

Any information provided by the client will be held in the strictest of confidence and will not be passed onto any third party for any reason, without prior written consent.
