Placing An Order

Ordering:

When you are ready to place an order, please complete the Order Form and return it to us with a cheque for 50% of the total order as a deposit. Proofs for the inserts will be posted within 7 days of receipt of the deposit, with your chosen wording, layout and typeface, for your approval. Work will commence on your order once any alterations have been made and we have received back a signed copy of the final version of the proof. Please read our Terms and Conditions before placing your order. Payment of the deposit is understood to be acceptance of the terms and conditions of ‘Purple Daisy Cards’.

Wedding invitations are normally send out to guests 8-12 weeks before the wedding. We require you to place your order at least 9 weeks prior to the date you intend to send out your invitations – this gives us time to confirm, make and deliver your order. That’s approximately 19 weeks before your wedding day. Please ensure that your order is placed in sufficient time - the earlier the better, particularly if you are having a summer wedding.

There is no minimum order so you can order the exact quantity you require.

Information Required with your Order:

Please complete the details on the Order Form in full, to enable us to prepare your proofs. To help you do this, please read our Wording Brochure, which will take you through the wording choices available to you for each item of stationery. If you would prefer to use your own wording, please type it out in full, as you wish it to appear on your stationery and attach it to your order form. For Orders of Service with Inserts and Menu cards, we will need the exact wording required. We realise that you may not have this wording available at the time of ordering. Please ensure that we receive full and approved (signed) wording 5 weeks before your wedding date. This will make sure we have sufficient time to produce these items and deliver them to you 2 weeks before the day of your wedding. Where an order involves multiple delivery dates, each part of the order will be delivered separately to meet these dates. In all circumstances, delivery charges will be dependant on the size and weight of the items being delivered and will be included on the invoice for those items.

Urgent Orders:

We will try, within reason, to accommodate any urgent orders (i.e. those required in less than 9 weeks from date of order). Such orders will incur an additional cost of 20% of the total order. Please contact us to check availability.

Delivery:

We aim to deliver:

  • Save the Date cards within 3-4 weeks of receipt of your approved drafts.
  • Invitations and Reply Cards within 6-7 weeks from receipt of your approved drafts.
  • Orders of Service, Place Cards, Menu Cards and Thank You Cards 2 weeks before your wedding day.

If you do not require items other than the Invitations to be personalised, or you have wording available at the time of ordering, we will try to send your whole order to you in one delivery. If you have any questions about the despatch and delivery of your order, please do not hesitate to contact us.

You will be notified by phone or email when your order is ready for despatch. Delivery is by Royal Mail Special Delivery, which will require a signature on arrival, so please ensure that you confirm an appropriate delivery address when you are contacted. All delivery charges will be dependant on the size and weight of the items being delivered and will be included on the invoice for those items.
